The home is located on an artery, with fairly light traffic. If you are looking for a nice place to walk or ride a bike, the John Rowswell Hub trail can be reached less than a kilometre away, at the Fort Creek Conservation area. The home is about a 2 minute drive to the Soo Curlers Association rink – a minute more and you can be at the Soo Pee Wee arena. The city’s main arena – GFL Memorial Gardens is downtown, about a 5 minute drive. If you are travelling from the US across the International Bridge, it is also about a 5 minute drive. A 5 minute drive west will get you to two major grocery stores – 5 minutes east and there is Walmart and other big box stores.
