The home is located on a main artery, but there is no heavy truck traffic. Traffic dies down to nothing during the night. There is also a railway track behind the home, with usually only one freight train a day that rumbles by at about 10km/hr. The property is also close enough to the riverfront that you might hear the occasional horn from a Lake Freighter too. If you like to watch lake freighters, bring a set of binoculars to the park about a 10 or 15 minute walk away and watch a few float by.
